Is there a setting which disables the two finger swipe to minimize keyboard? I just held a z10 which doesn't do it! Instead the whole screen moves down... like a web page would at the end of the scroll

Any ideas?

You have to do it on the keyboard or do a two finger swipe up again.

Easiest way to put the keyboard down is to just tap and hold the spacebar

Long pressing the space bar to hide the virtual keyboard is usually easier / less awkward anyway!

Didn't know two finger swipe down hides the keyboard... until now! It works for me.

I've been always using two finger swipe UP for showing and hiding the keyboard. Both ways work.

When Magnify Mode is on, the keyboard cannot be closed with a two finger swipe--only by a long press on the spacebar.

Magnify Mode can be temporarily disabled with a two finger swipe from the top of the screen.

Tap not swipe, but I use tap one finger or swipe with one finger.

Sometimes I give the phone the finger then I swipe or tap.

I used to do the long touch on the space bar, but found a faster gesture. Swipe up quickly from lower bezel to top of keyboard, then immediately back down to bezel. Give it a shot.

But.. but that is obvious.. you are swiping up to peek or ti active frame the app, but quickly returning to it, so it obviously closes the keyboard..

For me, the fastest method yet is just tapping outside a text field.

I knew about the magnify mode, but didn't know about the gesture to enable/disable it. I've been going into the settings for this if I need it.

For the curious, to enable/disable magnify mode follow : Settings > Accessibility > Magnify Mode Toggle (at top)
