Was wondering if i could set my twitter account so when i get a new tweet it would alert me? I have read some forums but
i dont see where i can set. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

You don't need to set anything up except for your twitter account. Any @ comments towards you, will come to the hub and you will be notified, same goes with Direct Messages. You will get a notification as soon as someone sends one to you

Can't do this yet. You will get a notification if you get a DM or a mention but not for regular tweets

When I see people asking about a feature like this, I think they must be using twitter very differently than me as if I got an update every time somebody who I follow tweeted then it would be spamming the **** out of me.

This is me. I only use twitter to get news about blackberry and other products. I used to like being notified when ever crackberry posted but since jan 30th not so much as my phone was BLOWING UP with tweets
