I try to set a picture password and it will not give me a picture to set up. It just keeps going back to off. I've just downloaded the update an hour ago, any help?

    Are you on BES?
It might be an IT Policy that does not allow simple password.

If you haven't done a battery pull already, or a soft reset, give that a go. Should fix it.

Turn off "Simple Password" first if you have it on.

I tried it out. Don't like it. You have to be too exact on where you drop the number. The only thing I really miss on my droid is the pattern unlock.

Don't put your finger on the number you choose, it's easier

It sucks. Why would you want this feature? It's slower to unlock than simple password.

Yes it's a BlackBerry. If you have something bad to say... speak to Easton!

As Usman said above, don't put your finger on the number you chose, that's the trick. You should be able to unlock it within one second.

Nope.. not exactly on the dot. But almost to the dot which should be easy if you chose the right picture for the password.

    Sample of mine...

Number 1 on 1.. can u see it?
And you don't have to touch the number to move the screen. Just touch anywhere on the screen and move that number to the designated location.
As like mine, I move no1 on top of 1.

Nope. Just drag the whole number screen.

Just something BlackBerry doesn't tell the users.

    I love picture password!

I let people watch me do it a couple of times and ask them to unlock my phone.

Nobody get's it right. So much safer and easy to do!

Had the same problem yesterday when the new official software release came out. Restarted my phone a dozen times before the problem you mentioned magically disappeared. Should keep restarting your phone and trying a couple of times after each reset to turn the pic password on. Should work after some time
