Once I start loading a movie on to my Z10 it starts and then says it can't find the storage device and then my phone fails to connect again? I don't kno what's up?

Happens to me occasionally as well. I thought it was my pc, but I'm not too sure.

try switching the wifi off and use only usb connection to sync. I solved the issue just like you described for my mac by this method

Thanks guys I'll try the wifi now after I reinstall it on my pc. Couldn't sign my BlackBerry id in either?

No joy but what I am finding is when it won't allow access to the storage on my Z10 I need to reboot my pc. But it stops my pc from shutting down to reboot? Why?

Seems your issue is much more complicated than mine

Similar problem it just happened randomly one day, everything was working before. Possibly the cable cause I have been bending mine at the base a lot. Or some hardware problem related to phone's USB port.

Temporary fix I used to sync my 4GB music files was turning on wifi sync although slow.

Basically I connect my Z10 all appears well. I can see both my on board memory and my 16gb micro sd card on my pc.
Then I try to drag a video on to either of my storage devices, it starts to transfer for about 3 seconds then stops and says it can't locate the Z10 's storage anymore to transfer the file. Both still show in my computer but now showing in red. The phones battery charging icon now shows a red exclamation mark and won't change until I reboot my pc. However the pc will no longer restart normally and stays in shutting down mode until u give it a little helping hand by holding the off button in on my pc to shut it down.
This is happening every time now??????
