Hi,

I'm guessing this may be a relevant question to ask. I'm currently traveling overseas, however I'm not using data for roaming, and am only using WiFi for browsing, messaging, and reading crackberry . But none of my emails are coming through...does anybody have a solution/idea about how to deal with this?

Did you pack your emails for the trip? Theres always something getting left behind.

Anyway never had a chance to check this with the Z10 as yet. But with previous BB OS i had no problem turning data services off and receiving emails via wifi while roaming.
Under settings there is the option to turn Data services on or off, but also to turn data services off while roaming. Wonder whats the difference between the 2?

If you log into Gmail via Web, are your messages sitting on the server?

Had it happened once about 6 months ago: gmail blocked 'suspicious login attempts' from IP address located in another country.
Had to do some online action via the web settings (some prompts and Q and A), I am sorry but I don't remember correctly.

Last month vacation in Greece: everything worked fine, and I have not experienced this concern from gmail.
