1.When paying using the app you have to tell them your paying w/tims card is this correct?

2.Also what are you tapping - the debit machine? What part of the phone are you supposed to tap with sides back front?

Yes say that you want to pay with the Tim card.

As to where to hold it. Place the back of the phone against the wireless symbol. If the terminal does not have this icon. You have to guess. Used it about 4 times.

P.s don't tap the phone hold it there until it says updating balance.

So true! Tried it today. Worked perfectly. Cashier was amazed. As I left she was telling everyone how I paid with my BlackBerry. Score one for BlackBerry.
