So I'll be honest I always thought time shift was kinda lame. Before and after getting my z10 I've only used it twice but anyways I used it this after noon to catch the perfect moment of a friend trying to twirl a basketball... and it worked pretty decently and everyone else was all amazed by that feature. Kewl! +1 for BlackBerry! Lol

As much as I love time shift I really enjoy HDR as well. What I would really like to see is the ability to use flash within those settings.

I always use Time Shift Mode because both of my kids never cooperate with me when I take a shot of them, turning around or even running away when I hit the shutter. Amazingly, the camera captures every moment before they are trying to escape so I can keep what gesture of them I want the final picture be.

When shooting group pictures, Time Shift comes to help fix everyone's blinking and such. However, sometimes the camera cannot detect every face of 10 people, only 3 of them. Maybe, I am not good at adjusting the focus before the shot.

The way Timeshift and HDR work, flash wouldn't be effective, or would just ruin the intended pictures. Timeshift essentially is a burst mode...the flash can't fire that quickly. HDR works by taking pictures at different exposure levels and puts them together for the "perfect" shot (detailed shadow areas with lit areas that aren't blown out). A flash would defeat that purpose.

Mine is always on. I have two little boys and it's great. What is nice is that you can do frames not just faces. Really handy feature. Love it.

I think Time Shift is probably the most useful camera feature I've ever come across (yes, I have kids too!). It's also the quickest way to floor an iPhone user, it makes them reeaaallly jealous!

I was thinking the same thing, my puppy never shows her face, I have gotten 1 picture of her face straight one, she always lowers her head when the camera comes out.

One more thing they are jealous about Z10 is the capability of zoom in/out during recording video. IPhone 5 can't do that!

Saw this today, shouldn't blackberry have the time shift feature patented. Seems like a rip off to me.

I always thought Time Shift was okay, then last night for Canada Day, snapping shots of fireworks I was absolutely blown away. Being able to capture the whole of the burst, never missing a moment, picture perfect just about every time.

Not to mention the fun from flipping the slider back and forth to watch the fireworks explode and implode in reverse.
