Is there a way for the crackberry team to implement some spam filter on their articles so that I don't have to see the comment "First" written under every god damn news article. I don't care that you're first and neither should do. Writing "first" is a practice that was common in the 1990's. Grow the hell up.

First of all, calling people idiots isn't nice.
And first after second, the only thing more annoying than comments about first are threads that are started over and over again without the forums being searched first!

After the "first" comments are filtered, only real comments are left....but then, people will get annoyed at "stupid" comments; and when these, too, are filtered, we may not have any comments left to read....

Yes I said it, i think who ever posts first should get a cookie and i stole this from a fellow crackberrier. so admins get cracking on a cookie icon for us so we can give first posters a cookie.

Well, that is actually a good idea. It bugs me too, all that first-ing, but it gets more annoying by the people getting angry about it and replying to that 'first' post. That is actually the thing that makes the comments section hard to read, justified though the rage might be.

So, we give the poor SOB that felt the need to post 'first' a cookie, and get that juvenile stuff out of the way and get on topic.
So: post 1= 'first', post 2= 'here's your cookie' and post 3= OT. That's a lot better than 10 - 20 irate posts about the 'first' poster. The necessity of it is saddening, but if it lets us get back OT, I'm for it.

If I worked for crackberry I would totally enjoy this and no not create a filter lolz. I don't see how these first comments can phase anyone.
