So I've been thinking.... Blackberry spoiled me rotten when they gave me the ability to launch search just by typing on my old 9900..... All I had to was start typing and the results would just pop up....

On the Z10... if I were to :

1. Bring up the keyboard from any screen by swiping up with two fingers (working)
2. Start typing (whaddaya know... working)
3. SHOULDN'T I SEE SEARCH RESULTS? (not working)

I have to click on the search button in the center of the screen and then achieve some of the same search glory... but it feels less like a BB to me...

Also, the capability of bringing up the keyboard in any screen should be used in smarter ways like -

1. Being able to search for words in an article being read online/in a document/in a text conversation/chat, etc....
2. Introduce keyboard based shortcuts that can trigger emails, sharing, calls etc...

Just feels something a Blackberry user would use. You know, cos we BB users do more

From what has been mentioned by BlackBerry, similar functionality is in the Q10s 10.1 OS and will be coming to the Z10 when it gets the 10.1 OS. So shortly after the Q10 most likely.
