This is so far I hate the most. Very often I need to search my older emails but they are not on my Z10. Is there any workaround to get over the 30 day limit? Anyone knows when RIM will add the unlimited option? Thanks.

Oh my. They better fix this right quick. Unbelievable that they did such a ******** thing like this. Me as a small business owner feels.. well.. ripped off in some sense. I am seriously ready to pack it in with blackberry, I LOVE my z10... until I realized this, now I am... VERY disappointed. the USA market is going to rip blackberry to shreds over stuff like this.

Not for me. Just searches the emails on my Z10.

Also hoping the option of keeping emails "Forever " will return.

Dang, even on my WP7 it would search. It wouldn't state where it was searching when those dotted lines where moving but it did. WP8 actually improved the situation and stated what and where it was searching.

I haven't used BB10 yet so I dont know but when you do universal search does it at least give you an option to search a synced server?

It appears to offer remote search on connected exchange servers. Why they did build in this limitation is beyond me, though. If it is to test the hub under less pressure, they should have done that in their lab prior to release. For professional users, this is really upsetting.

I just set up my work OWA email account as Exhange on my wife's iPad and it gives the option of syncing forever, so I did. It brought all folders and emails in the setup and emails from years ago were there.

Does the Z10 do the same thing? I will just need the sync forever option in the next update which I hope is soon because I'm within a few months of upgrading my current BB.

Right now the Z10 offers sync up to 30 days in the past. Which also means that it prunes your email as time goes by. You have the last 30 days of emails with you, not 30 days before the time you initially set up the account.
