I am wondering about the Z10.. I currently have a Z30 and was thinking about downsizing and going to the Z10. I know that the battery is worse, but other than that what are the big differences between the two phones. I feel that the size is better for me.
    Thoughts??
Screen quality is much better than z30 and the size is very nice for people who likes small phones...

I also feel the Z10 is better looking without the giant "chin" at the bottom that the Z30 has.

EDIT: I just asked the question on another thread. seems like a more appropriate question there.

    --------
Just saw on cnet.com/deals that they have the refurbished unlocked AT&T Z10 for $99. I love my Q10, but was thinking of getting this since it's so cheap just because I've never used an all touch BlackBerry.

Am thinking that at the very least, I could use it as an awesome media player and to use while jogging.
Thus, making sure Media doesn't use up any battery on my main device, Q10. (Edit: just saw online that there's no Miracast on it. I use Miracast and "playon" on my Q10 & Microsoft wireless display adapter.)

    What do you guys think?
Is a refurbished unit worth it now in 2015 or could "new" units be available at this price soon since the Z10 isn't even listed on the shopblackberry site anymore as being for sale?

Once you get the 3600mA slim battery like me, you will forget Z30. I like Z10 design when naked in my hands. So, while Z30 still expensive and I could get $150 for Z10. I don't feel old hardware is problem. OS10 is smooth. Maybe Qualcomm 205 display is the battery draining cause.

yup I love my z10 more than z30, bought the z30 on Boxing day Sale used it for 2 days and went back to my z10, sharper display! Love the size, and the build quality is way better, my husband got one as well and he has already smashed the screen and had it replaced (z30)

I have the battery bundle so that's a non issue, I am soo in love with my white and naked z10!!

    Love this thing...

Does the 4500 battery require a different back for the Z10 and does it still fit in a regular Z10 holster or case?

Bigger capacity must need bigger space. The answer is Yes... you will need bigger battery door. Usually the design made device very ugly.

    - Mugen 3800mAh extended battery, about $90 on eBay

    - Chinese no-name 3500mAh extended battery, marketed as 4500mAh, about $20 on eBay

Both come with a replacement back cover, 9-10mm thick.

I have been running 10.3.1.747 on my z10. So far, easily a day...up to two with light
use. Not a gamer or video streamer, so it's fast enough and form factor is perfect for me.

Oh there are many reasons. Battery life of the Z10 is way better than the z30 because removeable battery. And after about 1 year after heavy use when the battery going in its knees I can replace easy.

Also the display is WAY better than Z30.

For me the Z30 is a downgrade and also more expensive....

I got the Z10 instead of the Z30 for these reasons:

    It's cheaper
It's the perfect size for me
    The screen is better
Battery life has been amazing for me. I really have no idea why people are having so many problems. Battery lasts 2-3 days for me.
Plus, even if I ran out of battery, I got the charger bundle with the extra battery super cheap.

I've been disappointed by blackberry before, but I friggin LOVE my z10.

I havent had a Z30, but I think some reasons could be:

+ the size (if you dont like big phones)
+ the display (higher resolution, cant say anything about colors / brightness)
+ changeable battery (ok, batterylife is not really good, but it takes 1 minute to swap to a full charged battery)
+ I liked the design more than the Z30. Z30 isnt ugly, but i liked the Z10 more
    + Its cheaper

    - since I have a Passport I find the Z10 seems to be slow in android apps but I was totally satisfied befor
    - no miracast or WiFi Direct
