I've had mine since the launch in early 2013. Wow, can't believe I've had it for going on 17 months. I've read about issues but have never had one problem. That's never. And I use my device for work and play. I'm always on it.

I could copy and paste this post. Exactly same here. Bought mine on day one in Canada and it works flawlessly ever since. I use official OS releases only, no leaks.
BTW, I use PlayBook charger daily with no ill effects.

The only problem I've had is with AT&T moving slow with the updates. Outside of that no problems at all.
