I've had my z10 for about 9 months now. Since I have had it, I have seen lots of people having problems with their z10 from reboots to camera to android apps crashing I have loads of android apps, have upgraded software using both link and sachesi and also ota. Not once have I had any issues. I have also dropped my phone numerous times, more than 20, some from a good height like shoulder height. Only have scuffs on the body. Got my 4500 mah battery 2months ago and it's even better with a longer lasting battery.

    ^_^

How do you charge the 4500mah battery? Do you have to remove it to charge it?

No. I charge it in the phone just like any other, takes about double the time the Oem battery takes to charge. Worth it

13 months for me with zero problems. I have had BlackBerrys since the thumbwheel days and have never had one hardware problem other than a new battery from time to time. I can't say that about any of the other non BlackBerry phones that have been in my family over the years. Perhaps I have been very lucky but I am sticking with my BlackBerry!

You guys must work in offices. I'm having speaker issues all the time. But I'm not in a phone friendly environment. I'd wish they would consider that metal workers / carpenters /welders also use phones when they design them. I grit me teeth every time the service people say it's because if where I work. With all the technology out their you would think they could come with a better solution. For me I use my phone for warranty work. Use PDF files. Communicate with head technicians and dealers etc. I'm a golf equipment manager and around dust...metal grindings...welding fumes etc near daily. I might have to go with the classic zip loc plastic bag cover.Lol

I can see the problems. But also that does present unique issues. Is there a way to create sound (for music or notifications) without the traditional speaker that uses magnets? If so, it might be quite expensive. Do other manufacturers provide alternatives?

15 Months, numerous drops(concrete floors), incorrect charger used(PlayBook charger), handed it out at clubs to randoms (apparently great way to get numbers) and now the mic stopped working(UGH!). I am limping along for now(Bluetooth and speakerphone still work), hoping I can wait till September when the PassPort launches or more preferably news on a Z50 comes out.

Till the mic died however, this was actually my most satisfactory phone. I usually get the itch to get a new phone within a year but this one I was happy to keep for a long time.

PlayBook charger is perfectly fine with BlackBerry 10 devices. they also sell it as the BlackBerry premium charger.

16 months here and I was just commenting to my husband how impressed I was that I wasn't itching to replace my phone yet.

No lag at all no matter how many apps I've loaded up. No battery issues. The only really problem I had was that text issue and that was self inflicted by loading a leak. Cleared right up as soon as I went back to official OS.

I've had mine since the launch in early 2013. Wow, can't believe I've had it for going on 17 months. I've read about issues but have never had one problem. That's never. And I use my device for work and play. I'm always on it.

Sorry to hear that some other people have issues.
