So with my old 9900 and (and prior 9000) I could scroll down, and select the contacts I want to send a text message to. Start at A, select Adam, Amy, etc... continue to scroll down select Barry, Bob, continue to scroll down select Carla, etc. Until I got to the end, or it would say max # number reached (around 25 or 30 I think at a time).

With the Z10 (STL-3, 10.2 leak) I cant seem to do this. I go to select a contact, start at A, select Adam, then it brings me back to the message compose screen. I have to hit +, then scroll down to Amy, select. Then it goes back to compose message. I have to hit + then scroll down to the next. I just texted about 120+ people, and was incredibly frustrated by this having to keep adding, scrolling, adding, scrolling over 100x.

Is there a way to just scroll down once, and select the contacts to add to the message as I go along?

I have not a found a way to do this.
However, when I compose a text, it suggests contacts and I can add then with a click. Do you see this as well??

Thanks for the response, I do know the suggest feature once you start typing a name. I was thinking more of going down the full list of contacts and adding as I go along... Very odd to not have this feature. Makes the process far more involved and time consuming.

SMSbynow in AppWorld will allow you to create groups to send text messages.

Having several hundred names in my contacts list, scrolling would not work for me. I prefer to use the auto-suggest. I'm sure that having the option would be a nice feature for some though.

One of the two mysteries still bothering me with bb10. One is why BlackBerry Bridge was crippled. The second is this.

SMSbynow solves the latter one for good. You won't be disappointed.
