Text messages not opening

After upgrading the latest os. It won't allow me to open my messages?! What's up with this? I have restarted my phone.. :'(

Try sending a text message and a MMS message...

i just had this issue. Since the update my phone was extremely slow and text messages were not opening. I just left it. Now its working again. The only thing i changed was going back to the white theme instead of the black one I had previously.
