    Without sending any messages the text message cpu is the most and I can't do anything to stop it I only have kik as in android application

    I do understand that android apps are always running and using CPU...which is why we have draining memory and battery issues around. Have you tried uninstalling KIK and reinstalling?

    Even with me... sometimes the text messaging app would lag and would use the CPU a lot...
    There is some bug that needs to be fixed.
