    Dear all,

Wondering why the Z10 cannot use Teamviewer via 'Snap'?

Are you talking about remote control of another device? That works fine. I have it on my Z10 and it has run well for a year.

IF you are talking about remote access INTO the Z10, that has to do with the sandboxing of the android runtime (according to an informal conversation with someone at Teamviewer who was interested in how my Z10 was doing with the android version).

I downloaded it via Amazon Appstore (the android app) and then put my account information into it (I have a full version as i use it for tech support)
Search Amazon Appstore for Teamviewer - and what you are looking for is TeamViewer for Remote Control. Download, install and open. That's it.

Also available on BBW and updated specifically for BlackBerry 10.

Just looked since Dave Bourque above mentioned it - yes it is on BBW - HOWEVER! When I downloaded and installed it on my Z10 just now, it locked me out and would NOT accept my password. I am backing it out to the earlier Amazon version (I got it originally off of Snap, but since then it updated through Amazon...)

I don't know why the actual BB version is locking up - but it seems to be.

UPDATE: Crap. Teamviewer 10 update seems to have effed up everything. I had problems with it on my PC a few days ago - and had a chat with Teamviewer customer support over it - they are pushing it but it has issues - and now I have lost my good version doing experiments.

OP, I see what you are experiencing. I don't know the answer at this point. If we can find a rollback to TV9.xxx it would solve it for our phones (that is what I was running a little bit ago when I shot the screenshot) I don't know if Snap or goodereader or someone else still has that version archived.

TeamViewer is slowly frustrating the crap out of me.

I did get it to work again. Fortunately I made a .bar file when I was experimenting with my PlayBook.
It didn't work there, but it is TV9 - soooo... even though it didn't work on the PB, it does work on the Z10.

Here you go - link to it on mega...

That is the .bar file I created from 9.0.1941 about a month ago. You *should* be able to download it and run it. You MAY need to sideload it (google extension, sachesi, etc) I KNOW it will sideload (I use google extension to do this)

    Hope that helps.

It's a bar file so you need to sideload it like you did for Snap.

I have done download it via link there plus sideloaded it. The only issue is, from Z10, I cannot connect to my PC. It says 'Incompatible Teamviewer version' (Teamviewer in my pc has an Update soon after finished install in Z10). Wonder why? The version in Z10 is an old version? But, funny I can log into my office PC. They using Windows 7 Professional, while my home PC (a Laptop to be precise) is runninv Window 7 Home Edition. See the attached files

That is probably because the update on your pc went to version 10 of Teamviewer. It will not work with earlier versions - and to be honest- I am not pleased with it yet. It seems buggy compared to their roll outs of the last several versions.
