    AT&T signage for Z10-157077_10101673766869628_799539027_n.jpg

Seen on Thursday just outside the AT&T Store at a major mall in the Washington DC area. Bestbuy is no better - no demo (floor) models at the ones I visited on Saturday

I went to an AT&T store in my city to look for a case, and they didn't even have a demo Z10 out on display. They printed a picture of the phone and put it up as the 'display unit.' I asked the guy there if they sold any Z10s, and he said no. He also said they got only one phone delivered to them, so if anyone wanted to see it, they would get that one out of the back and show the person. Pathetic.

Well we all know that AT&T is an acronym for Apple Tw*ts & Traders! ; )

(that asterisk could be either an 'i' or an 'a', take your pick! Hehe!)

That picture is the struggle. Just a mess.

I guess they tried, but damn! AT&T could have sent them one picture. Or they could have printed something from the website.

I am in the Chicago area and one of the "trained" marketing people couldn't even name all the features as she demo'd the phone at a ATT store. It was called the Blackberry Profiles instead of Balance... The store had a working demo but no phones available for purchase. Stopped by the biggest Best Buy retailer in the Chicago area and there we no working demos and the phone was hidden. Not one sign in any of the stores, why spend all the cash on advertising for March Madness then???

My AT&T had one in display but it was in the back corner of the store.

This was my experience at both Bestbuy and AT&T....the demo unit was shuttered away somewhere in the "back" - and offered up by request only.

I visited mine yesterday to play with the Z10 again. It was still behind locked doors. I told them it launched and they said yes they can sell me one but NO DISPLAY. While they got me a phone again to play with the guy finally went over and grabbed the 9900 back to the desk and said he was putting the Z10 on display today!

That is just the worst! AT&T should have done like Sprint, just not carry it. If you can't do it right, Don't Do It at all!
That sign is a reflection on who they are more than anything. Truly sad.

It's not only AT&T, go to Best Buy you cannot see a single BB sign anywhere, and they did not even put out the demo model, is it that bad that those lazy bones can't just replace a $10 phone that's on display and put Z10 instead? He pulled a dummy Z10 from drawer to show it to me, what kind of people are these.

I don't blame AT&T or BBuy, they are probably getting paid by others or compensated with bunch of working units, etc.. BB did not push enough, and now we blame AT&T or others.. too bad. AT&T will not pay money and print boards, etc.. Remember the huge blackberry model when the curve was out? BB should have just made bunch of cardboard Z10s and mail them to major retailers and stores and ask that those be displayed. Marketing dept is very weak.

Same here. When I told the "greeter" at my local AT&T that I wanted to take a look at the Blackberry Z10, she said they didn't have any. Another sales rep corrected her and escorted me to the back corner of the store where they had one demo unit among a bank of five other phones. There were no window signs or anything advertising it's launch.

If AT&T bought a million units you would think they would try harder to sell them. Sounds like a poorly run company.

Wait... you guys are blaming AT&T for this? AT least that store is trying. BB Provided them with NO MARKETING MATERIAL. If I didn't walk in to 2 stores KNOWING the Z10 was out I would've never known it existed. No sign, no material, no demo phone. I am routing for BB and I really like the Z10, but in this case is not AT&T's fault.

That is just plain sad. There is some faint glimmer of hope in this; at least one employee there wants to sell the BlackBerry Z10. It is very hard to sell a device that only those that are following it know about its availability.

I'm not sure who's fault it is - but when I picked up my Z10 on Friday from the AT&T Store in Courthouse (Arlington, VA). There was no promotional material at all, no demo models nothing. They did have it in stock though. Just 0 mention a new blackberry came out.

Previously bought the 9000 Bold and 9800 Torch around launch time and they were promoted. So the lack of visibility is concerning.

I was at the Best Buy in Bailey's Crossroads (Falls Church) Saturday and they had a non-working demo model buried in the middle of a bunch of phones. No signs or anything special for the launch.
