My father has a unlocked T-Mobile Z10 with a AT&T sim. Since getting this device, he has been very happy with it except for one thing... he can't get MMS messages!

Either he doesn't receive them at all or it tells him to download the message but nothing ever happens. Does anyone have a solution for this? I have looked through the forums & have seen others with similar issues but haven't found a answer. Thanks for any help...

I have an unlocked Z30 on AT&T GoPhone and had a similar problem until a few days ago. Hope it works for you.

I use an unlocked Z30 on GoPhone and was having issues sending and receiving MMS. I spent a while on the phone with AT&T who were under the impression that it would not work correctly.

However... it does.

Just incase anyone is in the same boat:
Go to Hub > Settings > Text Messages > MMS > Advanced (at bottom of screen)

Update the MMSC Settings section

MMSC URL: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
Proxy URL: proxy.mobile.att.net:80

Hit Save.

Restart your phone.

When I did this I was finally able to send an MMS that had failed all day and then received a series of MMS that AT&T had tried to send me earlier on.

AT&T did their best but they seem to be caught in the Blackberry legacy world, believing that the data plans are somehow different on Blackberry 10 to Android or iPhone.
