So when I first bought my unlocked Z10 the hot spot worked. When I updated it via the phone, the tmobile prompt came up to pay for the service.
Does anyone know if you do an update ex the leak, that this feature will come back?

Officially, if you want HotSpot on T-Mobile, you can't use the unlimited data account. You have to switch to a data bucket account.
T-Moblie is doing deep packet inspection now and will "catch" you if you hack it back on. The only way around this is that in SOME areas SOME legacy account SOCs won't check it.
I had a legacy account SOC that worked up until about a year and a half ago, then that SOC started getting trapped even though I had made no changes. I wouldn't be sure that this is linked to the software update.
It's 100% linked to the software updates. I was using until literally the same day I updated.
