I was heading home after hanging out in Santa Monica this weekend and while I was driving, noticed something I didn't expect to see and took a screen shot right away.

Spotted again. This time at my house which is in the city of Los Angeles. I have yet to go around outside to confirm wide coverage. I never noticed the LTE because I always set it so it only grabs H+, UMTS or plain GSM. Because I knew there was no LTE in LA. But now I'm going to keep it on and check.

I can confirm the 4gLTE. I was in west LA two days ago and saw it for the first time.

Speeds?...can't comment since my T-Mobile plan has me throttling right now.

LTE is also avail in East Pasadena as well as all of La Canada. I was also getting LTE, on my unlocked, but branded AT&T, Nokia Lumia 920 with T-Mobile and on my T-Mobile Z10.

I started seeing LTE in the SF Bay Area over the weekend. My wife asked me if I had a particular app available and it was. When I downloaded it, the speed was amazing.

I believe you should be able to get it if you go outside. I get poor reception in my house. But in my job I get good LTE but that's due to an antena being nearby

Would you still get LTE with the $50 prepaid plan? It's include 500mb of high speed data. I use to be in the full service of T-Mobile now I went to prepaid. Long story short I got laid off work lol

I guess I'll have to keep waiting. I'm outside and still don't have it. I'm in Long Beach a lot too, and don't have it there either.

The place I got the strong signal was around Van Ness and Gage. Really fast in that area. Around Slauson and Crenshaw you get bad signal. I'm going to check this week in Gardena and Santa Fe Springs

Yeah that's where I live, in Irvine. I get 4G everywhere... just want some LTE, getting jealous not having it lol. but on the other hand I don't have the crazy battery drain that would come with it so that's good.

Yes. With all T-Mobile plans the amount of data they refer to in their plans will always be at the highest speed (i.e.: 4G / LTE). Getting LTE is more or less at this point a question of it being available in your area. After 500 MB are used you will still get data (unlimited) but at Edge speed. Believe me, unless you're on BES (compressed data via BB servers), you will rip through 500 MB pretty quickly, especially if you're in a LTE area.
