Not sure why AT&T is blocking BBM voice and video features over mobile networks. I had the feature before but now AT&T has blocked it. I found this statement from AT&T on the web.
"For video chat apps that come pre-loaded on devices, we currently give all OS and device makers the ability for those apps to work over cellular for our customers who are on Mobile Share or Tiered plans. Apple, Samsung and BlackBerry have chosen to enable this for their pre-loaded video chat apps. And by mid-June, we’ll have enabled those apps over cellular for our unlimited plan customers who have LTE devices from those three manufacturers."
I have unlimited data with AT&T and I still don't access to bbm mobile and voice.
Even skype video works.
I contacted At&t about this but they said it is a blackberry issue.
Anyone have had success using bbm voice/video on at&t?
The option to allow bbm voice calls over mobile network is grayed out.

Reason: Moderator please correct the mispelling of "Network" in the title
I am on Mobile Share and BBM voice/video is blocked on my Z10 as well.
That is completely ridiculous.
We should all open up a case on this, use twitter whatever it takes. Especially now that there is a carrier war going on
Odd. It's active for me, and I've got unlimited data. It's been blocked for quite some time, but after I received the BBM update, it was (and still is) back on again. It's a long shot, but have you tried turning off your device, pulling the battery AND the SIM card? It might work for you.
Funny I spoke with a Manager at At&t trying to get the feature turned on and she stated that she has an iphone with unlimited data and she can't do facetime and wishes that she had feature turned on as well.
What can I say to that?
What worked for you? How did you get it turned on?
From what I understood speaking with the tech is that it is a network feature and it is not something that can be turned on from a tech or customer service level.
On my 35 min call i spoke with tech support, then bb tech support, then back to a at&t tech supervisor, then a at&t tech manager. That is as far up the chain I can go and the manager told me that she can't even enable video calling for her iphone and she is a manager. I gave her statement I got from at&t about them turning on the service by the end of 2013 and she said at&t has not turned it on as yet and they do not have any idea when they will turn it on

I'm on AT&T (unlimited plan) with a Z10. BBM voice and video is blocked for me. My wife and dad have Z10's on AT&T with tiered plans. It works for both of them.
Add that to the fact that AT&T throttled my data after going over 5 GBs last month. I'm not sure why I'm keeping my grandfathered plan anymore.

Hang in there, I am in the same boat with you. We should not be forced to buy into a plan just to get access to a feature that we are entitled to anyway.
From what I was told only unlimited data plans are blocked from using video chat, while those on tiered data have the ability to use video chat over mobile. This holds true for both of my unlimited data plans on 2 z10s. I also just found out facetime was blocked for my sister and she is on unlimited as well.
