Is your device unlocked?
The blocking comes and goes.
On Straight Talk's MVNO AT&T service it works sometimes -- and not others. There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to why either. You'll get the voice/audio available indicator at times, and others you will not.
No
? Z10STL100-3/10.2.0.1791 on ATT ?
Did it always work for you or did you have to call att?

Would you mind sharing the 3.3.0.22 bbm bar file?

Is 3.3.0.22 a bbm bar version or blackberry bridge?
The way to get the non blocked bridge is the following:
1. Delete Blackberry bridge from the phone
2. Turn of the phone and remove the sim card
3. Turn on the phone without a sim card.
4. Download Blackberry Bridge from app world via WIFI
5. Turn off phone and insert sim
6. NEVER UPDATE BLACKBERRY BRIDGE WITH THE SIM INSIDE THE PHONE.
Enjoy
Bridge, bbm voice over network is blocked!

...and I was considering switching to att, from vzn. I guess not.
You will get to have Bbm voice etc. over cellular network. Reason being is that you can't buy an unlimited data package. The block applies to unlimited data package holders

Tmobile had nfc blocked on the 9900s

Grandfathered into an unlimited Blackberry Data plan. Have never been able to do bbm voice or video over cellular until the last update. Now the feature is unlocked and works fine. Was a nice surprise to discover that recently.
Can't seem to update my original response using the app but wanted to say that as of yesterday the feature is blocked. My gut feeling us att is finally prepping to roll out 10.2.1 and is starting to plug up the holes for those that are on a leak or unlocked devices. When I try to use BBM voice or video off wifi it now gives me the standard "contact att to activate feature" pop up.

If memory serves they opened it up to those on non unlimited plans. They might have just realized that they hadn't blocked it on bb yet

I spoke directly with AT&T support on this and lodged a formal complaint which I have heard nothing about since being done. If you are on an unlimited grandfather plan you cannot do BBM Voice or Video over network. My contention on the complaint is that IOS users can use facetime on their grandfather plans. Makes zero logical sense. BlackBerry needs to step in and get on AT&T's case, which we all know won't happen.

On grandfathered plan I've never been able to us it over cellular until I did the 10.2.1 update a few weeks backs. Then all of a sudden it was available. Now it's blocked again, hence why I'm thinking they're gearing up to officially release the OS because their network is starting to recognize it.

Hello,
my carrier blocked BBM entirely from 1st March, without any warning and required some extra money for BIS even for BB10 devices. I was unable to send IMs and make calls.
My workaround was as simple as this: VPNme. Costs 1,7 (2 USD) for a month and every BB service works as it is supposed to work. Plus this way I can even watch youtube on trains and buses where the Wi-Fi is limited to 'low network traffic sites only".

I didn't know they blocked video chat. Is ATT still blocking Blackberry Bridge?
Just a heads up. I installed OS 10.2.1.2228 this morning using the sachesi non destructive method. Turned off my wifi and I'm able to make bbm video/voice calls over mobile networks. I haven't rebooted my phone since this morning and it may be that the ATT settings will eventually be downloaded to my phone and grey it out again but for now it's working.

It's my understanding that if you use the autoloader method, you get none of the carrier bloatware, so perhaps none of the restrictions?

Did you turn off your Wifi and try to use bbm voice?
Posted via CB10
I can confirm the same. I used it today a few times over the network. I suspect once they see the new OS it will be blocked again. I believe this happened before as indicated by a previous poster.
