My system takes up 6 GB of my storage. I cannot remember if it was like this before, but it seems pretty much no? Have you guys got the same? :

    Thanks wasn't aware of that.

Can anyone take a look at their device storage to see if they also have 5GB of system storage?

Same thing happened to me, turns out it was my email account. Try deleting it and see if you have a significant difference.

I see I've also got 1.8 GB in "user files". I wonder what these are and if I can move them to the memory card.

Hmm, try clearing up your browser stuff and do a hard reset. Any changes after that?

Thanks all for the support. I tried removing accounts and doing multiple normal restarts and a reset with both volume buttons pressed. Nothing helped, in fact the thing has actually grown :P

By the way, I began getting these notifications of a full storage just right after I syncronized with BB Link via WiFi. I wonder if that has got anything to do with it.

If you count the Android port apps in BB World too, yes.

I was wondering as of right now I have zero android apps and m system is at 1.76gb. Wonder if android apps save a lot of stuff in system?

Android apps are often quite bloated in terms of how much memory they require.

I've been trying to move my android folder of 6GB to my SD-card. Unfortunately it keeps making more GB out of only 6GB as you see in the upper right corner?

Edit this is all very confusing. Is it actually possible to move apps to my SD card?

No apps will not run from your card. I wonder what bb would have to say about this, the large system storage. All those folders show as being empty except 1 with 1 file.

It's strange that I cannot run apps on the SD card, my friend with an S3 actually can.

So I stopped this moving process to the SD-card. Now I suddenly have to through 11 albums before I can get to my taken pictures. Wonder why that is.

But anyway I still think Link is at the root of these problems.

Just another difference in the systems. I think I have read that android is also going to eliminate installing apps on the card. Sounds lake you have a mess now. I would probably start all over

Do you have any apps that are recording audio files directly to your device? Like maybe recording phone calls, etc.? Or maybe a picture editor that doesn't allow to save on the card and goes directly to the device?

I like my coffee BlackBerry Black! What?

The Q5 only has 8 GB right?

I am going to try and fix the picture albums. Then I am going to try and remove some android stuff. If that doesn't work I will probably start all over indeed and use a back-up from a few days ago.

Ah, sorry. I didn't realize that. Damn 8gb isn't much.
