I noticed that for some reason I could switch between active apps by swiping left and right . Is that a new feature? I can't seem to replicate it.
But it was awesome :)

i don't think they made this a sustainable feature from the PlayBook Tablet OS days; the minute i got my Z10 the first thing i checked was this feature but it wasn't there and considering all the other gestures and other things going in this new OS, there was probably a legit reason. don't know how you miraculously did it... do you remember what you did for it to happen?
Yeah that was quite interesting. I noticed that too since I also have a Playbook.
Sadly the only thing I did was swiping from the left side. Which got me to the other active app I had open.
I can't recall what initiated it sadly..

you know, to everyone that complains about not having buttons on these touchscreen BB10 phones, if it's a button i miss is that BlackBerry button. Pressing it, holding it. It was like having right and left click on a phone. Holding it, allowed us to switch active apps (headless or not) instantaneously. You can define "instantaneous" in BBOS terms however you like ;) but I liked that method.
BB10 heads can also contest and say, why is it so hard to just swipe up to see the active frames and select an app from the open active frames- it's the same thing! My response is that I would like a more streamlined option to switch active apps - similar to the PlayBook just swiping horizontally (two fingers maybe?) but I also like to see my options - not just cycle forward like a cassette tape like this was an old school game emulator on BB10 :rotfl: I'd like to see a method to show me active frames but in a smaller version like everything dims and you have tiny icons to choose from to switch between active apps, similar to BBOS.
That's really interesting ideas. And I agree on being able to switch between smaller active frames. As long as you give options. This is my first BlackBerry so I can't comment on how it was before. But I have to say that right now it works pretty great with touch.
What about pushing up from the left side and keeping the thumb on the screen. To switch between open apps. Like how the camera works now directly after you have taken a picture. You can slide it up to share and delete.
