    Does anyone have a workaround to switch back from a Blackberry Z10 to a Blackberry Bold 9900.

    if you meant get BB7.1 on your Z10 then it cant be done.
    They have nothing in common apart from the name.

    If you meant physically transform your z10 to a 9900 then you will need to speak to this guy

    Switch from BB10 to OS 7.0 or earlier?-macgyver-movie.jpg

    Oh.. crap. Hmmmm.. if he already had a 9900, all the info should still be there. I still have my 9700 and even though I've upgraded, everything that was there before, is still there.

    think Blackberry protect tied all the info to blackberry id and transfers it over.
    thats if you back up your 9900 before using the z10

    It does transfer it but it doesn't wipe the info from your previous device. I've got my 9700 in front of me right now and all my BBM contacts, texts, convos, emails, etc, are all still there.

    i was merely putting the process needed just in case OP didnt use Blackberry Protect.

    Since you said switch back... Do you still have your Blackberry Bold 9900? That's a big first step...

    *Sigh* Another first poster... Curious that you hadn't heard of Crackberry while you had the 9900 and just recently discovered it...

    what makes you think he never heard of crackberry before?
    i had an 8520 and had heard of crackberry after getting it, yet i never signed up until i was well into my contract for my 9810.

    I was unaware there was a law that said you have to sign up to crackberry upon buing a blackberry and also of the law to be rude to first time posters here.
