    Try both method. Second one works for me. Now I'm getting good battery life.

    Remove battery sim card and do card. Plug wall charger. You will see red light as device switch on. Then put the battery. Wait for your device to switch on. If this case doesn't work for you then remove battery sim card and memory card try to charge your battery using external battery charger. Let's see what happen..

    BlackBerry device can boot only charger plug in. If it don't boot then it seems to be a problem in your device

    Remove everything from your phone plug in charger wait for 10-15 seconds and then insert battery while charger still plug in. Your device will boot

    I put battery in while still plugged into wall. No red light, no boot. I left the SIM and SD card out, FYI.

    Plug and batterytogether have been in for 30 seconds, still no response from phone
