I do so enjoy puzzles, and I would like to pass on a puzzle onto friends on Crackberry

Z10, factory unlocked. No passwords set on either phone or sim. BlackBerry Protect off.

Jump on and off wifi all day with no issues.

However, I've recently taken to changing battery occasionally instead of charging. So today I changed the battery. And suddenly I have a message near the signal area "sim not allowed". Went into mobile settings and "sim locked". I could still ring my house phone with the Z10.

Restarted the phone and the sim error went away.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Just a glitch. Went away after you restarted and you only saw it that once?

If it reoccurs, do a device reset (NOT exactly same as a Restart).
Hold down Volume Up & Down keys and do not release. Ignore screenshot popup, any splashscreens, etc. Do not release the keys until you see the blue startup logo.

Yes I wondered if just a glitch....maybe brought on by the battery swap.

It was a strange thing though....to see sim locked. I very nearly swore lol
