When you make make a video with Story Maker with pictures you took yourself and added music that you bought and downloaded, can there be copyright issues because of the music? I uploaded a video I made to my Facebook page, and they took it off because they felt it infringed on copyright.

Yes, it is. You only get the right to play it. No redistribution. Some are cool with it if you state the author, label, etc.

If I'm not mistaken, same goes to all forms of media you buy. Video games, software, movies, etc, You are only purchasing your license. You are not the owner, and therefore can not use the content as you may please without getting into copyright issues.

Yup same thing happened to me on Facebook. Guess them and Google can sell our personal info (without our knowkedge) but we can't post a video with a song we paid for. Go figure.

I wonder if the designers of Story Maker would add a slide where you could state who the author, band was with label etc.? I guess it would not solve the problem with copyright infringement though.
