Has anyone used e trade supply for replacement parts or replaced their rear housing on their z10?

My wife damaged her plastic camera lens covering and it's my understanding that in order to fix this the rear housing must be replaced.

Seems simple enough with a pentalobe screwdriver a handful of screws pop it open with a pry tool and that's it. There doesn't appear to be any ribbons

Please let me know if there is anything else I should know or somewhere else I can get a rear housing for a stl100-3 cheaper. On e trade it's 10 bucks plus 21 shipping to Canada.

Ive bought some bits from there, and they were very good , shipping is quite expensive but quick if i remember right.

some good bits (and cheaper) on aliexpress too, if you dont mind waiting a few weeks for delivery

I couldn't find the rear housing for the stl100-1 on aliexpress....mind helping me out.

Lol I wish I had 380 to blow!!! But I have the stl100-1 and this p9982 is the stl100-2,3,4 variant.

But seriously thanks for the aliexpress link the only other rear housing was 10 plus 25 in shipping to Canada :s sonic would pay nearly 40 for a 10 doller piece!

just bought one off ebay complete housing and screen for $40, turned my old beat up white z10 into a new black z10. Best 40 i ever spent lol as if i just bought a new device.

I wish I trusted myself enough to do a full swap of the housing.! Just the rear housing for me, well nor for my phone but my wife's. She battered up the plastic covering the camera

Its very simple watch some vids on youtube before you do it took me 10 mins to do the entire replacement myself.

I've never done this sorta thing before and will see how i feel after indo the rear housing.

I'd like to get the p9982 housing and swap my Z10 into it if it's actually possible
