Yes an android port. Works pretty well, battery indicator is the name. This atleast gives some idea of the battery affecting factors as I have seen that for me the call time and the display on time govern the battery life.

I updated from 10.32 to 10.90 last night. Battery life is almost the same, or maybe too early to determine any improvements. Even before the update the battery life was not an issue. Once in a while Whatsapp, checking CB10 and checking out new apps in the BBWorld. 65% battery left after 13 hours of medium use,, not bad i guess.

My phone is still draining in an average of 10% / hr. i donno whats wrong. I just off the charger for 1 hour and is down 10%. All i did was to clear my notifications(email, twitter) then a few whatsapp.

Guys when u say so many hrs and this percentage left or consumed, please can u also specify the call time and display time. Cos frankly 13 hrs and 65% left I can only dream of :-)

My Z10 is running for 24 hours now and still at 45%. I played around quite a lot and wrote about 50 mails and messages. Though the call time was only 30 min.

Same here, I am hovering between 7 to 10% per hour, and I think it mainly depends upon my call time and display on time. For the life of me I cant understand how ppl are getting 24 hours with battery to spare, whereas I am also struggling to get 15 hours on a single charge. But then same was the case when I had s3 too, ppl getting 24+ hours and I used to get 13 to 15 hours tops.

on 3g n 2g setting, rest all off, whatsapp a text.. and nothing else...

For me it is 7 to 10% on heavy usage. Setting on 3g and 2g. Try switching off the push feature in ur mail accounts, maybe that will help. Today's results are attached here.

Is the leaked of 10.0.90 available anywhere yet? I just updated to 10.0.6 this morning and noticed a big problem with the battery signal on top. Have been using whatsapp for 2hours and battery status seems to stay the same doesn't drop a little, haha.

By the way, the app for battery management looks really nice. Where can i get the bar for that? Thank you.

OK, back to normal (sry again).
On my way back home I had a transit in Heathrow and grabbed an O2 SIM, so that I updated to 10.0.10.90.
After two days of normal usage, I must say I can feel a big difference, with my device loaded over 50% at the end of the day (i.e 15 hrs) while it could barely make it before.

From what I can report (and thanks to Peter Handsen returns) is that my Z10 is now sober like a camel when on standby. Obviously, the battery drain issue with previous OS was related to a bug while in standby. And standby is, for most users, sometimes approaching 80% of daily usage time. Thus the giant difference (I formerly believed incredible) some have reported here.
That's a real progress!

U can try turn off the: screen look / allow gestures when locked . The batterry is better....

I'm not sure if this is valid info since my phone is a Galaxy Nexus, but i've noticed that after an OS update it takes a few charges to get the battery to normal. Can't tell you why...

Using the same sort of indicator app that you guys are, my phone has been off the charger 14h 6m 38s and is sitting at 15%. Heavy texting/emailing all day... a little browsing... about 10 minutes on voice call.

Even my fiance's Galaxy S3 did the same thing... even at idle would drop something stupid like 10% per hour and then after a couple of constant charges it seems more around 5-6%/hour

i wish they just bring back the Auto On/Off feature from the previous BBs. This is basically better than all the battery-saving tips combined. i wish they bring back some other features as well. Pls refer to my post below and do put it other features that u miss from previous BBs.

Before the update my Z10 battery life. Was pretty good. Fully Charged at 8.am wifi left on all day a couple of texts, maybe an hour of browsing and several checking the time on lock screen. Back at home at 10 pm the battery would show 40 / 50% now after. Updating to 10.0.10.90 battery. Life is terrible. Full charge at 8. am, the same texts, browsing, and time checking as before but this time with wifi OFF and at 8.pm the same day battery was almost depleted !! Can anyone help with this? Or is there a way I can change back to the earlier os? I'm on orange/EE. Many thanks.

I'm on Vodafone Italy with. 690 (which I only got through the Sim free reload device method on Link). Software update on phone tells me it's the latest available, so I think the previous post was a typo

On o2 and found the battery got worse, not improved... its an absolute power house before this with half battery at the end of the day!! 9-8... ok I guess that's not the end of the day, but that's a long time to go, with normal have and still have half the battery!!!

I'll suggest to those who have lowered their battery life with 10.90 to perform 1 battery pull, then a full (means ~ 4hrs wall plug) load. May require some time before the battery comes back full force. Pls update if this is/is not relevant, for other (and maybe a sticky if positive ?)
