Sup guys, saw couple ppl posting that their unlocked devices wont update past OS version .261 on ATT. I had the same problem, so i decided to do some research. I recently purchased an unlocked Z10 phone from 1saleaday, i realized the phone wont update and i couldnt get LTE. This is the info i found, and it would be helpful to some of you guys who are having the same problem.
Looks like you can only get lte on versions 2 and 3 for att

    Model STL100-1 Networks:
    21Mbps HSPA+
    Quad-Band HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6, 8 (850/900/1900/2100 MHz)

    Quad Band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

These bands matches perfectly with our local wireless mobile networks. Though we still face huge problems with 3G fluctuations, the phone manages to hold HSPA+ reception pretty well. The following models are fit for countries with 4G networks. We request to go through the specs before buying a Z10 from abroad.

    Model STL100-002 Networks:

Hi OP : STL100-1 is the 3G/H+ variant. This variant is designed only for countries without LTE. If you are going to run this in AT&T's LTE network (or LTE in NA other than Verizon) you're probably going to need the STL100-3 variant (there are two Sub variants for that particular one).

Have a look at what i found regarding the chipset.
Z10 processor Snapdragon MSM960 seems to have LTE built in to the chipset.

You won't get LTE on a STL100-1, it is not an LTE device, unlocking it doesn't make a difference to that.
It's 3G/HSPA+. Which is actually 3.5 so the difference is marginal.
But there are quite a few threads on this particular topic, full of info that you might find useful

The STL100-1 does NOT have LTE. It does not have the hardware capabilities built in to support LTE.

STL100-1 doesn't use the Snapdragon core, it's an OMAP.
Like I mentioned a bunch of threads on this....

Yeah, personally I'd rather die than use the OMAP variant.

I saw a comparison video between the 003 and the 001 and it was depressing how slow it was.

Went out and got me an unlocked 003

yup, a lot of devs have seen this with some LE devices as can be seen discussed on this thread.
the LE -1 variant I was sent is a Cortex A9, clocked at 1Ghz.
the -2 variant I also own is a Qualcomm MSM8960 clocked at 1.5Ghz.

the -1 variant (you can tell from the battery terminals being on the bottom of the device and the SD card slot being vertical to insert with a blue tab on it) is the London series which as people have said is 3G/H+ only
