Im on the leaked os 10.2.0.149 STL100-1
Everything was fine for weeks and all of sudden i noticed my phone getting shut. I noticed it shutting down when the charge indicator still showing the battery has charge and when i try to switch it on i cant i have to connect to the charger and it starts charging from the 50%-60% mark again.
This was worse before when i had the hide my files app installed and loads of movies on it.
I think it has something to do with the file system as when ever i try to mount the device using device manager it takes trouble mounting like after multiple tries it gets mounted.

And upon that the wifi has some problem that i need to restart the phone to get the wifi running again

Manie Hansen method : let battery run out
Take about battery, sim and medical card ,leave it out for an hour put them back in, hold the power button for 5 mind or 2mins plug in charger and battery will be fixed

Thanks for the advise. I'm doing it now and will report the result afterwards. This issue drives me insane. Since the upgrade, the battery won't last more than 3 hours a day.

Well I noticed through the Battery Guru App, that my battery is only on 41% of it's capacity... Maybe you might have the same thing going on and are forced to replace the battery...

I had done Manie Hansen method 3 times with no luck. Still having the same problem!
Contemplating to downgrade but had issue in restoring the 10.2 data. It's getting to a stage, it is really annoying of keep bringing battery banks around just to keep going.
@NoxiousInc: it's definitely not the battery issue. I have a spare battery and still with the same issue.
When i look at the CPU resource for "system" it's averaging of 30% utilization where few times it hit 80%ish.
Anyone has similar issue?

This is a serious bug of STL100-1
Z10 STL100-1 and the serious bug of the battery - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

Before to say is a bad battery, try the battery in a Z10 STL100-2.
Anyway still waiting a fix from BlackBerry.

It's the battery, I had the same issue. I Replaced the battery, no more problems with phone shutting down.

Do you have already tried the battery in a Z10 STl100-2? Because mine isn't working correctly but in a Z10 STL100-2 is working without any problem. Tested for 2 weeks.
