Stl1 vs stl2 which is better?

Hello. Im from malaysian. Today i purchase new bb10 stl100-2 ltethe price is pretty low. it's about rm900 in malaysian money and 200usd in usa.

I make a compare on my friend phone, he has stl100-1 ,
First thing i test a camera,
Stl100-1 have great camera then my phone stl100-2, the details pictures more real, dynamic and clear. And my pictures a bit low, the focus not to clear, so the camera on stk100-1 more better sensors now im jealous :(

He phone so smooth, compare with my phone, why? I think snapdragon not so powerful cpu :( maybe because stl100-1 got 2D graphics chipset, that mean more smoothly in menu home screen.
My os is 10.2.0.415 latest os, same with him 10.2.0.415
Oh im jealous again,

My question is stl100-2 have different hardware right? I think stl100-1 more better than stl100-2? Or i got a fake bbz10.. lol sorry for my bad English :)

For games and such the STL100-1 is 'better' for everything else the STL100-2 is better. Just look around and see how many people hate the STL100-1 version lol. It's ALWAYS last to get an OS update or leak. In short, you really shouldn't be jealous unless all you do all day is sit down and play video games and are worried about the milliseconds in difference it takes load said games.

I have an STL100-1 I don't hate it I actually love it. I had the STL100-2 before but my battery didn't last as long as the STL100-1 does and the high speed data uses a lot of MB For someone like me(my carrier only gives us 600 MB a month for a N$399 contract ( about 38USD with current exchange rate)

In terms of leaks the official will eventually make it my phone and with 10.2.1 the leaks were always there for my phone.

STL2 lebih unggul menurut saya
karna prosesor snapdgragon dan jaringan 4G LTE.. mungkin anda hanya belum meng upgrad versi Os 10.2 atau 10.2.1 atau camera anda yang bermasalah.. coba bandingkan dengan z10 stl2 yang lain

Ya, my friend asking me to swap, he said stl2 more powerful.. so stl2 load a bit faster apps than stl1, now i get it. :)

Bedanya kamera, knp stl1 kameranya lebih baik dari stl2 :(

Wow so expensive internet data plan,
My place in malay have a internet pakage for bbz10 phone, rm18 for unlimited data internet a months , price Rm18 it's about 5usd .

saya memiliki STL-2 z10 dan punya saya normal seperti stl1 malah LCD STL2 punya saya lebih putih ketimbang stl1 yg lebih kuning.. mkin stl2 anda buatan region mexcio atau hungary memang setiap negara memproduksi kualitas yg berbeda
atau memang stl2 ada bermasalah..coba bandingkan dgn stl 2 punya teman anda

Stl-2 has a snapdragon chipset which is about 30% faster, however the powervr graphics in the stl-1 is marginally faster than the adreno in the stl-2.

The main difference, however, is that the 1 doesn't support 4g lte, and the 2 does.

Apps/games load faster on the stl-2, but the stl-1 could have a slightly faster frame rate in games.

I'm an STL100-1 and I find this offensive. NOT!

In my opinion, STL100-2 is better simply because it has LTE. And I saw a YouTube video once where an STL100-2 loads Beach Buggy Blitz much faster (I think almost 10 second difference) than its non-LTE brother. But that's just me. I prefer blazing download speeds. It's true, I wasn't that informed when I purchased my Z10. I thought every one is the same, until I learned that my Z10 and my boss' Z10 weren't the same model. I got disappointed at first, but I got over it. I still want an STL100-2 though. And a LEZ10 :D

One more thing, devs dev on the 1 am I right? The LE is 1 I believe.

The OP feels there is a difference in camera quality. Has anyone else noticed any difference?

The LE is region specific. My LE is an STL100-3

I don't hate my STL100-1 phone because we are always late of getting the leak.

OP, maybe you have different settings for the cameras of both phones, and hence the difference in quality? Can you check?
