I was told if I have premium 9.99 I can download music. Will the music save in my memory card?? I don't have Internet at work, so I can't use Pandora or Spotify. I need offline music, music saved in my memory card. How exactly does Spotify work? Will I be able to save a select amount of songs into my memory card and play it with the rest of my music already on my memory card? Thanks

Spotify isn't even available on BlackBerry 10.

The web player does work but it's a pain to use and you can't save offline music. Doesn't seem Spotify has any plans to support BB10.

Boycott! Has the CEO of Spotify even use a z or q10?

I have no idea. They should.

I rage-cancelled my Spotify subscription yesterday and now I resort to mp3's with the stock music player.

Nope it is saved in a format only the PC client can play.

The web player at play.spotify.com is the only thing we have available. To use it you must enable desktop mode and flash in browser settings. If Spotify is essential for you, then I would say BB10 is not what you should be looking at at the moment.

Or you could give GrooveShark a shot: you'd have to sideload it, but it will let you d/l music and entire playlists.

Only issues are the selection is slightly less than Spotify's, the interface can be a bit clunky (Android port) and the radio feature is, well, interesting.

Give it a whirl - couldn't hurt, might help...

Yeah i use Grooveshark a lot too. Agree with everything you said about it, should point out its a website rather than an app so you can't play music offline.

As alternative (Spotify was never available in my country) I use:
    1. Beautiful, native and free Skooday ex.fm client
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/26725872
    2. Grooveshark mobile site: html://html5.grooveshark.com
    3. Not bad Android port of 8th tracks
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/23695872
    4. Http://Soma.fm radio stations in TuneIn
    Radio

I also tested Deezer, however wasn't able to resolve bug where only 30 second previews were downloaded instead of full song. App is rather poor Android port, selection is good.

N4bb supposedly saw Spotify running on a z10, but that was months ago and neither n4bb or Spotify have had promising comments since then.

If you still like Spotify, and use it on other devices, there are ways the rip the music... but you didn't hear that from me... !

For me it's not necessary to create a folder. I just side load it and it works.
Try doing a reboot after installing by hold/pressing both volume buttons till your phone go's off.

Which android runtime version are you using?
