Sounds like the issue is with the media being stored in the device memory instead of on external memory......I'd move all of the media to an sd card, then reset or whatever...

That sounds like the best option for OP

Factory reset won't delete everything right

OP - how long is your chat/text history? You could try deleting some of that?
I've never had the need to reboot as a result of laggy performance. Check your storage as recommended. Put music and photos on your SD card.

Re sms - clean up or sms inbox. Don't be a squirrel and hoard everything.

I'm not sure how to do it on the Z10, but I know you can save all your media to a computer via Desktop Manager. Then, you can transfer what you want back to your device...
Super fast and no lag at all.

Factory reset means it will remove every single thing & bring back the phone back to factory state the way you got it the first day without any of the apps you downloaded, music / pictures & videos you added or any contacts & such.
Back up the phone with Blackberry Link & do it that way.
I had lag with playing a game ONCE but that was the game lagging. The BB10 OS hasn't failed me.

Same. It's crazy smooth and fast.

Open the File Manager app (will default to device memory), tap and hold on the photos folder (or camera folder), a menu will pop on the right, hit the 1st icon (copy), swipe left to right, select sdcard, tap Paste on the top.
Will probably ask to overwrite.
Thanks!! I want to transfer it all
