I have a BB Bold 9700 and a BBZ10. I use the Bold for business and it works very well. On the other hand, I am not at all happy with the Z10. Why? The speaker volume, although the volume controls are maxed out, is barely at a whisper, exceptionally low. For a new phone, this is unacceptable. While trying to listen to a music video on YouTube, it is next to impossible to hear. Considering the price of this phone, the speakers should be exceptional. Is this a fixable problem? Are others having the same problem? I feel like sending it to John Chen and telling him to fix it, or keep it!

Download Blackberry Virtual Expert (it may be included in newer versions of the OS). It contains a series of tests.

Have you tried switching between headset and Speaker? Press the MORE... button (bottom right) and scroll around while listening to audio)

I noticed since updating to Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2273 I cannot switch it over to speaker when playing audio such as Youtube, grooveshark, sound cloud, etc.

When I hit volume up, it shows the toast notification that says it's handset volume

Anyone else?
