    (Spam) Email from RIM Blackberry Indonesia - PIN Peer to Peer-img_00002512.png

    Sorry, if I have posted this in the wrong forum. Please feel free to move this where applicable.

    Attached is a screenshot of the email I received. (NB: I am not in Indonesia nor have I visited Indonesia!) I didn't realise my BB PIN is visible to all? How did this happen and what can I do about this nonsense? Shouldn't I be able to opt out of marketing communications? I can already imagine the furor from Android and Apple users if they are spammed.

    It's spam, just treat it as you would any other missive from some bottom feeding spammer.

    And as to how they got your PIN, it's most likely through a random PIN generator (like a telemarketer's autodialer, but for BBs).
