Is there a way to show the song titles while connected via bluetooth in the car? Currently, it only shows the device name.

Just returned a rental car in Germany. Bluetooth music stream on my Z10 was flawless, started where I left off when restarting engine and song display was on screen as well as playlist if I chose to.

I did not have to do anything on my phone after pairing it to my car stereo. As soon as I start the car, the radio looks for a device, connects in seconds, and as soon as I press the screen on the radio, music starts playing showing song title, album name, artist, duration, time left for the track, and picture. I do not even take my phone out of my pocket because it even reads my phone book and displays the names of the callers if I have it saved. Otherwise, it only shows the phone number. I can also dial a.contaxt from my phone book or dictate the.number I want to call. It is awesome!

It even works when I use Apollo for streaming although I cannot skip songs since I think it is not fully integrated as Pandora is on legacy devices.

Strange, I'm using BT with Uconnect and it plays whatever was already playing before, only grip with it is it automatically starts radio instead of BT when I start the car...

mine plays perfectly as well, but just I would like to see the song titles, so I know what song to skip. It also connects automatically as well.

I sell Dodge products and what I've noticed is that you can connect to uconnect 4.3 ,8.4 and 8.4N through your USB. But on the new uconnect 5.0,8.4A and 8.4AN it can't find the device. You would think that since qnx makes that system that it would work perfectly. This new system also will not read text messages or emails through the radio

10.2.1.1925 and I can see titles. Actually, when I went out earlier, I even had mine reading me my emails - the car is only 2 weeks old so I'm still discovering stuff. Now if only it could translate and understand my Bronx accent!

Is there a 'text' button or the like on your car audio system? I have one on mine which with a press cycles through having either the normal everyday screen up or song title info etc. (mazda6). Also, might pay to have a quick look through the car owners manual to see if there's a setting in any of the menus to allow this.

Well, the other day, I realized that while my car's BT can show titles, it canNOT play Albums nor can it advance or go-prior - it merely plays tunes as it finds them. The car manual indicates that this is a matter of the type of device. I guess BB10 or Z10 is limited in control from the car's tuner console.

I've noticed mine will only play "random" using the vehicle controls, but that's always been the case for me since bb5. 1925 fixed my USB mass storage mode though so I can finally get album, track, and cover art to display properly.

So that's by plugging it into a usb connector? I have not tried that.

Make sure that your phone is ALWAYS discoverable in the Bluetooth settings, that`s what I did and now it always works. Before in my 2014 Corolla it would only show song titles if I started the music application from the phone and it wouldn`t work if I started to play music from the cars radio....very weird. Anyway let me know if that works!!

Exactly what shows in my Civic. Was fine before the latest update. My phone isn't always discoverable though. I'll change that and see if it works.
