I was in the same boat about the battery not lasting, but that was because I was using the **** out of the device. I was getting around 7 hours on heavy usage and past two days with average usage I am at 12+ hours. So really depends on how much and what you are using.

If doing browsing, try using wifi, seems to have battery life, just remember to turn off when leaving location with wifi or it will continue to search for a signal.

I've used my Pb charger every night for two months now.. there's no problems. I also every few days throw it on charge here and there, meaning no routine. As i speak phones been on 10.5 hrs and im at 50%. I'm a contractor and on my phone all day also lte is on.

One thing I did was turned off the swipe to unlock feature in options. I have to press the button first then swipe now. I found it helped a lot but can't say for nursing situation.

Lots of threads about battery though. If u can't find an answer taken the phone back and get a new Z10

I've had mine for almost a week. I have the same problem with the battery. It is awful. I have to charge it twice a day. But I love it too much to return it.

Check that you have the OS update that has the battery fix 10.0.10.85 or better, and if you have BlackBerry travel get the update, and delete eBay. The OS update really helps the battery

As soon as my battery gets up to 20% I can do the software update .88. I also don't want to do it, but I will delete Ebay. Thanks for the input

Honestly there's tons of threads on the battery and recently 75% of users are getting 12- 15 hrs.. im now at 14 hrs and been on CB all night. The battery each day just keeps getting better and better for most people. Maybe more so because the new phone phase has worn off and we're actually using it as a phone and media device not a toy opening and closing every app all day
