I just downloaded the new 10.1.0.4181 on my z10. My issue now is that I had to remove the battery for an hour just so the phone could text, access Internet, media apps etc. My issue now is that it will refuse to let any calls come in or dial out. I can not even get a dial tone. Any suggestions? I'm with Telus in Canada

The majority of people upgrade with no problems, just do a fill backup just in case

There's a dozen threads if not more on this. Read them...follow instructions for update and be prepared to wait.

I was updating for 2 hrs plus after everything installed. Be patient and read a book.

I did an update on Telus 3 days ago. Everything went smooth, download took 30 minutes, phone asked me to reboot and I pressed yes. Reboot took about 5 minutes and phone came back on. Normal, everything was done the way it was supposed to

Now I have no texting anymore. None! Doesn't work... no SMS history either

Internet is super slow , 25 seconds to load a page

Many apps won't open, like Telus app and my banking apps

My contacts are still doubled and tripled and some are missing completely

OS is very very laggy and glitchy even after 60 hours

I wonder if you hit this situation:

KB34666-BlackBerry smartphone is unstable after an over the air update due to misaligned BlackBerry 10 OS and radio versions

One of my friends had similar issue where he was unable to make/receive calls.

People need to stop pulling the battery out of their z10.

Just downloaded everything working just fine. Seems to be much quicker now.

On Rogers and download on both my phone and my wife's Z10's and it went perfect.

I've noticed improved battery life now.

My only issue on both phones was having to log back in to set the passwords on all the email accounts.
