updated yesterday and calendar is now a blank screen. Tried deleting my google account and adding it again - to no avail. Also think battery draining more quickly. Any ideas?
How can I revert to earlier (previous) software version.

I'd recommend doing a security wipe and trying again.

Thanks, but if i do that won't i loose everything on the device? Apps, everything in something like password keeper and all my memos in the remember app. How can i safeguard against that. If I backup then when i restore i will just put everything back so defeating the objective?

Yes you'd lose all data unless you restore, but restoring might not make this problem happen again.

Calendar has now started synching of its own accord. Surprises it took so long - about 2 days. All well now and confidence restored.

After installing, allow the phone to run for about thirty minutes and pull the battery out. Leave for about 5 minutes and put battery back. Your sms should return to normal, this worked for me, hope you'll find it useful.

I recently learned that an OS takes a couple of days to settle into the device. It's been on my device for three days now and my phone has been this smooth. Thanks to #team_blackberry and hard luck to those experiencing genuine issues. Hope they hook yawl up with a fix in the not so distant future!

I updated a few days ago and just noticed that now I can not delete a single occurrence of a repeat activity in the Calendar (when I press Delete for a repeat activity, it promps whether I want to delete the whole series or just one occurrence. When I select one occurrence, it actually removes it for a few seconds, but then puts it right back). Pretty annoying! Has anybody else noticed this bug?

I used to have a dark background for my calendar app, now, it's white...I actually prefer it but if I wanted it dark again, how would I do that?

I updated my software yesterday, once it was complete it restarted but would not come back on. I took battery out and it came back on but most of the stuff on my phone deleted and a notification said software update failed. I tried it again about 3 times but the same thing is happening again. I cannot click on to my call or text button and it keeps going really slow and freezing. I have left the battery out all night and tried again but nothing is working again!

Conventional wisdom is it takes a while, sometimes quite a while, for the update to actually complete and doing a battery pull is a no-no.

I have had this problem also - I think i'm now onto the 3rd attempt at updating the software - at the end of each attempt (which appear to be successful) when the phone tries to restart, it lights up with the bberry symbol but won't actually come back on for literally hours- then when you take out the battery and try again it says update not successful - a real pain in the ***.............

Been trying to update for 2 days. left it updating over night and it still won't get past the 100% boot screen. Just restarted for the umpteenth time and got a message to say I had successfully updated the phone to 10.1.0.4181 only to find when I check the OS that it is still on 10.1.0.2354.

I now can't make or receive phone calls, which, call me old fashioned, is my primary reason for having a phone. What is going on and why haven't BlackBerry done anything about this? The 4181 update appears to have started to be rolled out three months ago, so why are people still having problems?

Does anyone have a fix for this issue? I'm with Vodafone in the UK

Now update is showing in Link, but out of desperation I tried to do a security wipe. The phone is now stuck on the sim logo screen and has been for 3 hours. Seriously, this is supposed to be a straightforward update and it has killed my phone. Any help or suggestions gratefully received...

I don't understand why people still insist on installing 10.1, just run 10.2, the .1725 is more stable and has more features than any 10.1.
