According to golem.de there is a soared demand for BlackBerry Z10s (with additional encryption) at German Federal Ministries due to the NSA affair.

20 authorities, including 9 out of 14 Ministries have ordered 1200 BlackBerry Z10 from Secusmart, which is a German company that offers end-to-end encryption services.

That's good to know! Other European governments should follow. Same with other European Union institutions. Please spread the word!

So the NSA does the marketing for BlackBerry now.

I think this would be a USP if BlackBerry would allow encrypted calls from BlackBerry to BlackBerry out of the box. I definitely would love such a feature. However, I think that most governments would not allow such a feature.

1200 is too little. A government wide adoption if only the standard BES10 offering will help.
