Government is not the government once we knew growing up. They are now controlled by corporations, bankers and very few elites at the top.

Computers they use are far more technologically advanced than ever before which means they can, and they will collect any data and info about you and myself. Don't just give up your own personal rights only because you have 'nothing to hide'.

If you have done nothing wrong you have nothing to hide. The Government Agencies of this World have far better things to do than actively snoop on you or I and the vast majority of law abiding society.

I choose BlackBerry because it does what I need to do, email, calls, reminders, organise.

I do not need millions of mindless, poorly conceived apps that have no real or practical purpose.

BlackBerry for life if they can build on the Z10 my current device and Z30.

If not, then who knows.

I'm not in the military, not a celebrity, I'm a private citizen. Nobody, NOBODY Has the right to snoop into your affairs in a free society. Maybe that's the way communists live (and we all know what kind of life they have) and maybe that's the way the socialists want to run things but I'm an English Conservative and my house is my castle!

You should take the time to look up the word 'democracy' and hopefully you'll see that it's more than electing a group of people to positions of power and then standing by while they grant themselves more. The last century was full of democratic regressions and every one of them used 'security' as the reason.

True. My viewpoint is that if someone wants to know something about me, then they better be a gentleman and ask politely and take a polite refusal in return or be holding a warrant. Many socialist and communist governments rose to power citing security and public safety to commit terrible crimes. Privacy is what you are entitled to as a human right. If the NSA of a country other than my own and including my own wants to say otherwise, then then they can go **** themselves. Just a question, how many Americans who don't mind the NSA invading their privacy, saying things like "if you've done nothing wrong, you've got nothing to hide" would be up in arms if say British GCHQ made a deal with Google, Yahoo, Microsoft or whoever to spy on Americans?

That's what I thought! But it is ok for the USA to do it to us is it? Guess what, my government does not have my retinal scan. The ******* NSA do!

I agree with you on not having our privacy invaded. I'm nobody special myself. Work and go home to play with my gadgets lol but political party aside whether communist liberal or whatever, in Canada the conservatives are our biggest threat, only party that we gain a chance of seeing policy changes for the better of Canada is to get rid of Harper and have NDP instead and hope they are not just puppets like harper and Obama and stop this corporate controlled north America.

Then the I have a right to Privacy bunch who want absolute, unconditional privacy and under no circumstances want anyone knowing anything. That would be fine if everyone in this world was law abiding. They are not. Criminals, paedophiles, terrorists stalk the Internet and use mobile phones.

These are the people they are after, why would they waste their time targeting you of looking at your day to day activity. That is not the case.

I imagine some of you are in the US at least believe in the right to carry semi automatic weapons with as much ammunition as you can carry. Because it's your right.

I'm going to be very careful with my words as I don't want any more infractions for stating an opinion. Official explanations to certain terrorist attacks just don't hold water but it's a great reason to infringe on civil liberties and start wars.
