    Just updated to the latest 10.3 (1418) and now Snap will not update or install apps. It goes through the process of downloading the apk, allows you to "Open Installer" but then the actual "Update" or "Open" button is grayed out, see screen shots below. Anyone else with this issue?

    I tried the Kill Shot app via Snap and had no issues.
    I notice your screen shots don't have the BlackBerry Guardian Report section above the Disclaimer section.
    Maybe there is an issue with BlackBerry Guardian on your device.

    Doesnt snap save the apk in downloads folder? Just do it from there then.

    After updating the OS, did you check Settings, App manager, Allow apps.....to be installed ?

    I'm running 10.3.1.. without any problems using SNAP.

    Probably a good idea to enable the app inspector as well.

    Thank you for pointing it out. It looks like I cannot install any apks currently. Is there something I can try to get Guardian back on?

    You have to go into settings>app manager and turn on those 2 settings.

    That's it! It says under "apps from other sources" that it has been disabled by my administrator... but I do not have one and before the update to 10.3 it was working fine. Did I miss something during install?

    Looks like it is only allowing me to install Android apps via Amazon App Store. How do I go back to Snap? Delete the Amazon store or something?

    Try a restart:

    Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

    If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

    Just today I downloaded apps from both Snap (google play) and Amazon. So, Amazon should not disable Snap processing. If it is your phone and not corporate, you should not be limited. Has it always been a private phone?

    Thank you for your reply. Yes, tried restarting every which way-nothing. Phone is mine and I updated via sachesi (non destructive). I used links posted in main forum thread about 1418 OS. Any other ideas? Here is the screen cap from the settings page.

    I am not exactly up-to-date on which OS's are complete and which might be developer OS's which might limit what can be installed or run?

    Is that a pretty standard leak or a more limited one?

    No, not on BES and the OS I installed is not a leak, it is the latest official OS for the Passport that plenty of people installed on their Z10s (which is what I have). I searched the forums but could not find anything about this problem. I really don't want to reload the OS again and am hoping that there is an easier way to solve this. There are so many smart people here - someone must have an answer. Thank you in advance!

    UPDATE: I found out that in my case this issue is due to adding work ActiveSync (Exchange) email/calendar/contacts account (not BES) that has IT policy blocking installation of Android apps (other than from Amazon App store). This policy also blocks the use of Development mode (important for side-loading bar files) and forces the use of "long" password, blocking the use of Picture password. If I remove this account all is well and I am the master of my device again. It sucks, but I guess it comes with territory
