Can anyone suggest what I can do to improve the texting app. For some reason when I text the words take forever to appear and after the appear it takes forever to get sent. This is the only app that I'm having problems with. Any help is appreciated.

Have never seen this problem. Do you have a bunch of other apps open? You can always try a restart and see if that helps.

I have a simular problem. Before I downloaded the new OS for my Z10 it was bad enough that I would send txt & it took a few seconds for the screen to recover before I can start texting again but now with 10.1.0.2019, messages will not send if I navigate away from the screen & it takes over a minute for it to go through if I stay on the screen. I have rebooted a few times with no help. Someone please help.

Delete old texts. For some reason having many old text messages slows down the texting app.

My texts are the same. I type and send and wait. Then I can begin the next text. If I navigate away too quickly the text goes nowhere. BBM works perfectly every time. Is it or could it be an operator issue?

I have this on and off as well. This used to happen on my android phone too and it always seemed to be too many texts saved in the text app.

this is so annoying. I'm trying to carry out a text convo and then bam. i get blank screened and takes 5 minutes to load up the existing texts and ability to send and receive again. BB is failing as a communication device which I value most.
