This Skype beta bar side loaded doesn't work on my Z10 using 10.0.0.116
As long as I'm at it, I'll say that only about 25% of the bar side loads have worked for me.

I tested every version of Skype I could find from 1.7 up to the latest and the best I could get was a "Connecting" notification in the HUB. But that was about it.NOTE: With the recent OS Update, this no longer will work and will give you an upgrade message. The OS update from a few weeks ago broke this build. Only people who did not upgrade the latest Playbook OS can use this. We are working on fixing this, stay tuned.
This app does not work with video chats, but you can use the text based aspect of it to type to your contacts. It will not work to video or audio chat because of the way the Blackberry Emulator works.

I do not see any harm in demoing... If there is an NDA agreement in place on the code however, it might make me squeamish. :talk-hand: :dancing:

And CB Kevin demo'ed it too, they should all be ok.

I am brand new to all of this, adding android apps to the Z10. I, too, would like to know how to install skype on my phone. I installed the ddpb thing but i have nothing and i don't know how to add anything. please help....
