    I can't seem to get skype to work if I have my the wifi receiver turned off. Can't even login if I don't have wifi connection. Is it the way it is for everyone or is it just me and I'm having issues?

    Hrmmm... i asked because some of the latest 10.2 builds have intermitent issues with android ports being able to access the cellular network, but I don't know of any such issue on that OS.

    That certainly isn't the intended behavior for skype..

    Thing to try:

    First, Check the app permission, make sure all are allowed.

    If that doesn't help try flipping the phone in and out of airplane mode, then close and reopen skype.

    If both of the above fail try a hard reset, by pressing and holding both the volume up and down keys together for about 30 seconds or until the blackberry logo comes up on the screen.
