Did you do any reboots after the update? Recommend trying 3-4, each about 5 minutes apart to help the OS get settled in. Try that and see if it improves.
Try removing all email, contacts, third party accounts. Then add them again after the reboot. Turns out one of my account is constantly connecting to a server but just returns errors.

Also make sure your brightness isn't maxed out. I find this significantly adds to the battery drain of any device
Hi Weissendorf, I had similar issues with yours, but did something and got better results in battery life.
If your device is already upgraded to OS 10.3.1 here is you may try that I've been done : go to Systems Settings>App Manager>Application Permission .
Under Application Manager you'll see all applications icons that been installed. From the "All" you can tap it and change the permission action of applications individually, such as category allowing "Run in Background" or "Denied".
From here you can observed each application and notify which one is always running even though you don't use it. Tap it, you can see also "Permission Details" and what kind permission it sets for each application, change it if you wish.
Or else, set your display brightness device to the minimum. Good luck.

Open Device Monitor and see what apps/processes are using the Battery. At the bottom of that screen, tap CPU - what is using the cpu?
Put it on the ground and jump on it 10 times!!
