    I've owned a blackberry since 2009. i still remember my old trusty Pearl 8130. Since then I've owned a Curve 8530, Torch 9850, and now a Z10.

I originally stayed because I was familiar with BBOS. Over time, however, I fell in love with the features... BBM, instant push email, etc. Nothing beats a Berry for productivity.

Before going to my Z10, I considered going to Android. I was tired of the shortcomings of BBOS (memory leaks) and wasn't sure I wanted to take the leap to BB10. However, I took a leap of faith and I'm so glad I did! BlackBerry 10 is by far the best OS on the market...my faith has been restored and I'm down for the cause...long live BlackBerry!

I've been on and off. Just came back to a Z10 from a Nokia Lumia 928, which I would say was the best phone I've ever owned. I came back to BlackBerry because I missed BBM plus I made a good deal in the marketplace here. I haven't used my upgrade and I plan on it this year so it's up to Microsoft/Nokia and BlackBerry to duke it out to see who comes up with the phone good enough for me to use my upgrade and lose my unlimited data

Not quite sold on my Z10....yet

I'm not completely sold on the Z10 either. Software wise, it needs apps but that's across the board. Hardware wise, the battery is pathetic plus the speakers and camera aren't anything to write home about. I love the phone but it should have been more.

First BlackBerry was the Curve 8320, so since 2008. After that it was the 9780 and 9900. Ironically, I got the BlackBerry because of my Mac laptop. My Nokia flipphone was syncing with iCal and was getting worn out. So, i needed a phone that will sync with my Mac Power book G4. This was before iPhones. After researching, I bought the Curve. The funny thing is that we were diehard Apple fans. I eventually bought the iPod Nanos, Shuffles and Touches for my kids. We even had the Lacie Hard drive and Airport router. So, i was confident that I would get the first Apple phone. By that time, I had had enough with iTunes. We were having quite a bit of issues with DRMs, updates etc and I had one cracked screen too many with my kids' devices.

I stayed with BlackBerry for ease of communication, solid build, fantastic form factor and keyboard. Something about the BB experience. Just makes me happy.

1990's don't exactly remember but I think it was like a pager type phone, probably 20 years with BlackBerry. Too bad I didn't save them all. Just have a working 7520 and 8330 left

I envy the users who have used the monochrome BlackBerry devices, I am in search for a working one but haven't found one yet. I had been smitten with BlackBerry since my high school days.

Got an 8900 in 2011, switched to a Lumia for some reason - H A T E D it, and then came to Q5 and loving it.

Won a BB Pearl 8100 in a sales contest and have been hooked ever since. Then went to the Bold 9000, then the Bold 9700, then the Z10 to now the Q10.

Miss a number of apps from BB7 that are not available for BB10 (Groupme, Drivesafe.ly) and the Bold 9000 still has the best keyboard ever made, but the multitasking of BB10 makes it well worth it. Now if BB would just bring the Bold 9000 keyboard back........

Since 2009 with RIM's first full screen BlackBerry. I should have known better getting two 9350's (Storm) for $50 from Verizon, only to have the 9550 (Storm2) come out within a month with an actual functional amount of memory and wifi. Should have been the first Storm, imo...That is how I first discovered Crackberry.com, trying to keep that 9350 functional! LOL. I've only ever had full screen BlackBerry's, and that is the only style of BlackBerry I'll ever own.

Since 2007 for me. I used a 7105t for my first BB, then switched to 8310, and z10 for now. Although I have a windows phone and a iphone 5s, but i really love my z10 and BlackBerry 10 OS. BlackBerry phones are always my primary phone.

Been a BlackBerry user since... Ever!

Actually, it was 2006: I was getting my very first mobile phone and I saw the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 and immediately bought it. Kept it until until it bit the dust, then upgraded to the Curve 8900, great phone and last time I got to use the trackball...

Then in 2011, left T-Mobile for Sprint and got The Bold 9930, also a great phone but at the end of the road, kind of needed to retire, just kept rebooting like crazy.

Now, I've had the Q10 for a month and it a sweet, fast, awesome, powerful little machine and it works great with The PlayBook!

Have my first BlackBerry Device since the end of March 2013.

Long Story relatively short: My old Samsung Wave S8500 keep dying and I was on the lookout for something new with at least:

    1.) Changeable Battery
2.) No "Censorship Device" aka iPhone
    3.) No Android OS
    3.) SD CARD Slot

After a few Days (and I had already chosen the latest High end Samsung Galaxy Device) I found by accident an Article that BlackBerry has created a new Device with a new OS.

I never knew People who own a BlackBerry Device, so I totally rely on "hearing and saying". But what really caught my interest: No Android OS and (the main reason I decided to buy BlackBerry Device) no longer forced to have a totally overpriced BIS Data Option to use that thing. I mean as a private Person it's nothing I really need.

I have read dozens of Articles about the current Situation BlackBerry is in and also the New OS and that it lacks dozens of standard features (as of March 2013). that means: From the beginning I knew what I will get and that BlackBerry could become bankrupt.

Luckily my Carrier (Vodafone Germany) offered the Z10 with a new contract.
And now I am really happy to be here

What makes me keep using this Device:
It's simply getting better and better.

Even as my last Twitter conversation with Tim Neil shows that there are currently no known plans for a API for filtering specific Numbers and creating Black-/Whitelists for i.e. a Call Block Manager in the near future

    https://mobile.twitter.com/MeerMusik...11244636602368

I hope that we all can keep the pressure high on BlackBerry to give us such API in 10.3

    Have a good Day everyone
    Oliver

I've been with blackberry since near the end of its hey-day back in 2011. I first had a Blackberry curve 8530 and man did I love that phone. Even though the camera was kind of crappy and an alarm clock malfunction cost me to miss work and lose my crappy job, I still really liked the keyboard on it. I liked the tactile feel and scrolling around the internet browser using the trackpad. It was also small, lightweight, and I liked my ringtones and the way it vibrated. I actually miss that phone, even though I sold it last year at a painfully low price...

Now I have a z10 and am patiently waiting for the official 10.2.1 update since my previous attempts at installing the .1925 leak didn't go so well...

I've been a BlackBerry user since August 2009. I waited for what seemed like forever for Sprint to release the Tour 9630. Then I had to find some way to get Sprint to let me get the upgrade pricing haha! (Didn't work, but I did get the rep to throw in a couple accessories!)

I really fell in love with BlackBerries when I saw my Dad's Bold 9000. (He had a work issued 7290 that I didn't appreciate until after I played around with the Bold.) Since I wasn't on AT&T or T-Mobile, it seemed like I'd never be able to experience the greatest keyboard device.

I'm approaching my fifth year as a BlackBerry user and even though I generally use my BlackBerries in conjunction with another device, BlackBerry has a special place in my heart.

Three things keep me using a BlackBerry: the physical keyboard, nostalgia, and CrackBerry.com. Honestly, as much as I enjoy the physical keyboard option, it is the nostalgia, particularly that attached to my time here at CB, that makes me want to remain connected to the community.

I am somewhat of a late comer to the Blackberry fold. My first was a Storm when they first came out, followed by a Storm 2, 9800, 9810, 9900 and now a Z 10. I am loyal to Blackberry because they STILL manufacture the best hand held communications tool ever, hands down. If your phone is primarily used for other purposes then there are many other similar products that will do nicely. Samsung makes some fine devices now.

I had a bad experience with iPhone 2G yes I know I spent way to much money on that dang phone. When I needed a new phone I had heard of the Storm 2 & figured I'd switch to BlackBerry as Apple left a bad taste in my mouth. I liked it and upgraded to the 9800 and then the 9810. But I started having carrier issues so I switched to Verizon & got a Z10 I'm happy with the Zed. I'm going to keep it through the 2yr. Contract and possibly longer as its a rugged phone I am not going anywhere.

8330 Curve for me....5 years ago...my second cellphone in this era. (Actually my first weighed 20 lbs and had a car battery attached to it about 25 years ago...then took a break until 2006 when I got a flip phone before upgrading in 2008 to the Curve and 8530 Curve in 2010. Tried an EVO3D for two years and missed my Blackberry so I came back to the Z10 and LOVING IT!)
